Stoke Preview: United Must Plant The Potters
Manchester United get ready for their second bitter Barclays Premier League match in just three days as the Reds play host to Stoke City at Old Trafford. United began 2011 by keeping their nerve – or maybe riding their luck a little bit – as the left The Hawthorns will all three points following their intense 2-1 victory win over West Bromwich Albion, but Sir Alex Ferguson knows that he will need to make sure that his players are completely refocused for the match with a very physical Potters side.

Month In Review: December 2010
Usually the month of December offers up a congested fixture list for Manchester United, but that was not the case as two of the Reds’ games were postponed. Due to some skeptical playing surfaces away from Old Trafford, United only played four matches during the normal jam-packed, festive month, however, that did not stop the Reds from retaining the top spot in the Barclays Premier League and winning Group C in the UEFA Champions League.
New Year, Same Problem For United
Manchester United rang in their New Year with a win, but it was far from convincing, an it has unearthed some real concerns about the balance of their current squad. United could have very easily dropped even more points away from Old Trafford against West Bromwich Albion, but, thankfully, the Reds were able to fight tooth-and-nail to remain on top of the Barclays Premier League table for another week.
West Brom 1 United 2: Shaky Start To 2011
To kick-off the new year, Manchester United escaped The Hawthorns with a narrow 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion in the Barclays Premier League. Wayne Rooney scored his first goal from open play since March of last year in the opening moments of the game, but it was cancelled out by a strike of the highest quality from James Morrison.

West Brom: Baggie Up All Three Points To Go
Manchester United travels to The Hawthorns to play West Bromwich Albion in the Barclays Premier League, as they look to reverse their luck on the road in the Midlands. Disappointingly, United threw away another valuable two Premier League points conceding a late goal in their 1-1 draw with Birmingham City, so the Reds desperately need to reverse their terrible away form against a struggling West Brom team.
Nigel Clough's moment of rage will lift Derby County

Club First, Everything Else Second
At most other clubs, players are more focused on their individual honors rather than the club’s, but certainly does not hold true at Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson has squashed Nani’s aspirations of winning the Ballon d’Or anytime soon, by telling him to focus on winning team trophies at Old Trafford first.
Manchester United's Year In Review: 2010
Manchester United has pulled the curtains down on yet another year, and even though 2010 did not bear the fruits that it normally does, it was still successful. Although, United is at the top of Barclays Premier League standings at the turn of the year for the first time for seasons, they captured the Carling Cup title, and had a fantastic overall record, the year will be forever-remembered for the Reds losing out on last season’s title by such a slim margin.
